About the artwork
The first of two 'Antidotes', this piece uses the composition of a photograph the artist took of a lake in Bavaria in winter. "I wanted to transform it into an idealised version of itself, capturing some of the feelings the light can give us when the sun enters its 'magic hour', enhancing colours and sharpening contours" Sandra von Haselberg explains about her work.
