About the artwork
One of two 'Antidotes', this piece uses the composition of a photograph Sandra von Haselberg took of an iced-over swimming lake in Bavaria. She comments, "I wanted to transform it into an idealised version of itself, capturing some of the feelings the light can give us when the sun enters its 'magic hour', enhancing colours and sharpening contours.
